女，工学博士，研究方向为海洋遥感与海岸带沉积，主要从事海岸带及大洋遥感和内陆架沉积物动力演化方面的研究。取得的主要研究成果包括，针对变化激烈的粉砂淤泥质潮滩，提出了一种准确监测海岸线的方法；从沉积记录和遥感监测相结合的角度，揭示了内陆架养殖活动和台风天气事件在现代水体沉积环境和古地层沉积记录中的特征；针对古海岸线位置无法确定的难题，建立了一套雷达追踪全新世大暖期古海岸线精确位置的方法；建立了空间观测、水体现场实测及地质沉积记录之间相结合研究的纽带，为研究现代和古沉积记录的多圈层相互作用提供新思路。出版第一作者专著1部，近五年以第一作者发表SCI论文7篇。参与获得发明专利1项，参与获得部级奖励2项。承担国家自然科学基金项目等在内的科研项目5项。任中国海洋湖沼学会河口海岸分会理事。
